Group Creative Director.

Designed a modular wayfinding and signage system for Lyft's driver hubs, driver centers and shop in shop. The challenge was to incorporate the Lyft brand personality while keeping the system extremely functional and easy to understand as most drivers have English as a second language. The System is to be installed in over 200 locations across the US during 2019.

Inspired by stackable road signs with clear simple hierarchy, we designed a system around a kit of parts that combine to build the entire wayfinding system

Simple,

Fexible,

Stackable.

Built around a single square, our design system uses a combination of squares and elements to create a compressive communication and branding system.

We start by breaking down all the wayfinding and communication needs into four key components.

  • BRAND

  • DIRECTIONAL

  • SERVICE

  • INFORMATIONAL
