Rewards by Foursquare is a gamified survey app designed to make sharing opinions feel fun, fast, and rewarding. The creative concept draws inspiration from classic puzzle games of the 80s and 90s—where bright colors, intuitive design, and satisfying interactions kept players engaged for hours.
We applied that same spirit to the brand identity. Bold, saturated color palettes, geometric graphics, and playful motion elements create a lively, approachable vibe that immediately sets Rewards apart from the more utilitarian, transactional feel of traditional survey apps. The design not only reinforces the app’s gamified experience but also strategically differentiates Foursquare’s offering in a crowded marketplace by making engagement feel like a game, not a chore.
This identity invites users into an experience that feels nostalgic yet modern—building emotional connection while driving greater participation and loyalty.
